Paparata has around 15 kms of bush boundary

Pig numbers have increased in the past few years, which is a good or a bad thing depending on your perspective. Over 100 pigs have been shot on the property over the past year. Goat numbers have been high but DOC have been culling goats in the bush and staff enjoy goat hunting. This means the number of goats left on the farmland are now very low.
