The last few years have been very disappointing for  the wool producer. After a period when it has been difficult to find someone to take the wool away there was a glimmer of hope when the price  lifted into the 200s. Unfortunately that bit of confidence has faded. Looking to the future we take the view that wool is a natural product and there is likely to be a use for it in a world running out of resources. We continue to weigh hogget fleeces and select for a consistent wool fibre. The target wool fibre diameter is33-36 micron.
